Moor Wood is a two acre country garden with a wild flower meadow, walled garden, sweeping lawn and an orchard. As holder of the National Collection of Rambler Roses it is home to more than 150 varieties of rambler rose as well as many other varieties.
** Important Notice **
This is a difficult year in so many ways. The weather is playing a major part in the garden and the very warm and dry conditions have meant that our roses are 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule this year.
Our Open Day of 28th June 2020 will clearly be too late for many roses and they will be over. IF you would like to make an appointment to walk around the garden in your own time and enjoy what there is then please email Henry Robinson on firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred time for an appointment and stating how many in your group.
We will be asking you to make a donation online to the NGS for the wonderful cause of the Macmillan Nurses for whom we raise money every year. There will also be a donation box in the garden for those who are not able to donate online or those who are overcome by a burst of generosity and wish to give much needed money to this excellent cause.
Please remember this order Email...Donate...Visit.
Thank you and we hope that you enjoy the garden.
